In addition to the success of the industrial group, Adnan Polat, as the President of the Turkish Ceramics Federation, played a major role in moving the industry forward. He was rewarded with Certificate of Achievement of Italy State by the President of Italy for his overseas breakthroughs in the industry.
In addition to being businessman, Polat also carried the successes of his business life to the sports world by being the chairman of Galatasaray Sports Club, one of the most important teams of Turkish football. Polat, who acted as executive in various levels of sports club for more than 15 years, has returned to his identity as a businessman after this duty. He continues to realize investments in construction and energy, which are source of pride for our country, through Polat Holding, in which he has undertaken the role of leadership.
Adnan Polat also is leading Turkey's largest urban transformation project Piyalepaşa Istanbul that Piyalepaşa Real Estate, an affiliate of İbrahim Polat Holding, is putting into practice.

Polat Holding continues to invest in RES and GES power plants both domestically and abroad with the awareness of investing in domestic and renewable energy sources for a safe and sustainable future in energy and natural resources. Currently Soma RES is the largest wind power plant in Turkey with an installed power of 240.1 MW and Geycek RES is Turkey's third largest wind power plant with an installed power of 168 MW.
