Renewable Energy Investments

As Polat Enerji, we are proud to be the leading company in wind energy in Turkey with our installed capacity of 708MWe.

Polat Enerji, through its clean energy generation, contributes to a reduction of approximately 1.25 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions, which is equivalent to planting 55 million trees.

Total Installed Power of 708MWe

Continuing to work with the aim of adding value to the world and the ecosystem and leaving a clean and sustainable world to future generations, Polat Energy accounts for approximately 6% of Turkey's wind energy installed power.

Founded in 2000 by Adnan Polat, Polat Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors, Polat Energy is among the largest actors in the field of renewable energy in Turkey with its 708MWe installed power in operation and investments of over 1 billion dollars.

What is Renewable Energy?

Renewable energy is an environmentally friendly, sustainable energy source obtained from natural, renewable resources such as solar, wind, hydraulic, geothermal, biomass and tidal energy. As Polat Energy Group, one of the leading companies in the field of renewable energy, we largely meet Turkey's need for clean energy resources. We continue our services thanks to our growing body with wind energy, which is one of the sustainable energy sources.

As Polat Holding, we aim to develop Turkey in this field and to bring clean energy systems to the fore.

Wind Energy Use in Turkey

Wind energy, which is used to generate electricity from the kinetic energy of the wind, is one of the leading sources of sustainable clean energy. Wind energy, which has a very valuable and high potential for production, investment and use, is produced by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy by using the blades that move with the rotation of the wind. As Polat Energy Group, we use this energy opportunity in the best and most efficient way in our country, which has very suitable geographical conditions for wind energy production, and contribute to the sustainability of natural resources.
